Data Protection law has changed. On the 25th May the General Data Protection Regulation, known as GDPR, came into effect. GDPR imposes additional obligations on organisations and gives you extra rights around how your data is used.
Keeping your personal information safe and secure is our top priority. Several measures, including strict privacy policy and data protection policy are in place to protect your personal information and guide and describe how it is used, in order to provide efficient, safe and transparent therapy care.
Your personal information is an important part of our service. For instance, it lets us provide our products and services to you, including managing your medical records, contacting your GP or consultant, book your appointments and manage your financial transactions related to your treatment. This will only be accessed if you have given us consent to do so by completing and signing our consent form, which states your explicit agreement to our privacy and data protection policies.
It is easy for you to control your preferences on how you would like to be contacted and other data protection preferences by contacting the practice admin team or the data protection officer.
We want you to know that we respect the information we hold on you and that we take the security of your information very seriously. We will never share your information with any third party except with your explicit consent and we will never contact you without your prior agreement, explicitly stating your contact preferences, which will be recorded on your practice personal file. Your preferences can be reviewed, checked and changed at any time.
